new pet found

There's a new addition to my family, or rather my dad found a new addition to my family. Haha. Last sun, this birdie flew into my house and was standing at my window sill. Both me and my mum are in the room, so we didn't know there was a bird in my house. My dad came home and saw it. Went to catch it, and surprisingly, it didn't fly away and willingly let my dad hold it. There it is, a new pet in my house! Haha.

It's a rather pretty bird, with lots of colours (blue, shades of green, black, orangey red). From the looks of it, it seems like a parakeet. And it very well tamed, as it doesn't fly out of it's cage at all even when it was wide open. Kinda small, about a palm size. Loves to chirp, or maybe it is attempting to sing. Haha. Been trying to teach it how to speak, hopefully one day it can talk, that is if it doesn't escape out of its cage. Haha.

Well, a bird is very different from having a dog, it doesn't really play with you, other than trying to bite your fingernails off. And also, you cant pet it like a dog, nor cuddle it. Can say it's quite boring, but at least there's always sound 'cos its always chirping away happily. Haha. Guess when I'm bored at home, there's this bird to "talk" to me. Some kind of entertainment I guess. HA!
