in one week time..

Another week of being jobless and no job offers either. This is bad! I'm so unemployable that no one wanna hire me~ Hahaha. Not much time left before I will be gone for 8days in a week's time. Can't hardly wait to get out of singapore. Well, nothing much going on this week. Finally went to get my grad gown on tues after a couple of failed attempts. Kinda fun laughing at how silly we are all going to look with the humougous gown that be it that you are big size like me, or xs size like my gerger, you still get size S. And that hat! Mine was quite big that when I bend down, the hat will just fall off my head. HOW GREAT. Guess the person is not very keen on helping us with the gown, 'cos the person never offer to get a smaller size hat for me. Mine is size 7 and I tried 6 1/2 which abit small, then the girl just get me size 7. Didn't know there's a size 6 3/4. I would have gotten that!! So sickening. Ha.

After getting the gown, lunch-ed at J8 and a mini mahjong LESSON at my house for my gerger. The 3 of us attempting to teach my gerger how to play mahjong. Well, can say she picked up the basics quite fast. Not bad for her, considering that she don't even know how to play much cards game. In about 2hours, she managed to learn some of the simple rules of the game and a few easy method of winning it. She actually manage to win a game by herself! Not bad not bad. But I got fang shui abit lah, since I'm her upper ka. Met up with the OSBs for dinner at JE after that. Supposed to dinner on thurs, but cos of my last min changeS, they decided to stick to tues. Haha. Sorry for the trouble eh. Well, have to thank zw for his whole day ride around places. Hope you don't mind about it. Ha.

Hmmm met up with the lustre people yesterday. Was quite fun. Went for ktv till 6pm and headed off to some open area to play lame games. Yes, in public area, we are doing stupid and dui lian things. Haha. Well, luckily I thick skin, don't feel paisae about it. But look like those little ones was embarassed about it. Feel old hanging around them. Haha. The outcome of the game is Bene is the "luckiest" among us, with straight 5 winning streaks? Hahaha. Had dinner and more mind intriguing games. Quite interesting outing I would say. Never would have expected hanging out with a group of young people can actually be that interesting. Looking back to a few years ago when we are still their age, guess we are as crazy as them, but I feel we are much more crazier. Especially when the whole group of OSBs hang out. Ha.

Nothing much this week. I should be looking for jobs, but I'm already quite sick of staring at job ads, companies website, etc. Sigh. Why doesn't jobs just come to look for me!!! Ha.

safari adventure

weeee~ my first safari adventure in the night!! And it's definitely a costly one. Haha. But it's worth it for my girls and since it's kinda a bday celebration for me. Haha. Been so long since I last saw sand!!! You definitely went missing ar.. hahaha. Well, would say it's quite interesting to go to night safari. Never been there and the last time I went to any tourist attraction places, it's like more than 10years ago!! Haha. Kinda suaku. Well, caught the complimentary show the moment we went in. Wild creatures of the Night. Hmmm.. saw a couple of animals quite close. 2 of which is hanging/flying above our heads, and that big python was actually kept in a steel box underneath one of those benches!! And that's only like 5m away from where we are sitting!! haha and to think that those people who are sitting there, they are like sitting on it?! It truly humougous. Hahaha. Saw a couple more animals of which names I couldn't name. Ha.

After the show, went for the tram ride around night safari. All of us are keeping our eyes wide open, looking for any creatures that is hiding among the bushes or in the shadows or up on the trees. Some were really close to us, practically next to tram and can actually touch it if I stretched my arm. Haha. Some of the animals really looked so cute!! And it's really sad, 'cos we cant take photos as no flash is allowed and the place is pitch black. Any photos we took, turned up black. How sad. Alighted half way on the tram and went on a foot trail. This is where all the fun and interesting thing happens!!

Well, at first it was just a normal foot trail, with us just staring at those caged or isolated animals. They are purely exhibits and can't touch them at all. We came to this area. An open area which jess was TOTALLY excited about it. A walk through the BATS cage. It's this open area with trees just next to you, and you have to walk through it. Bats and birds will be flying all over you, and above your head. It's was a little scary, 'cos only the 5 of us went in to this caged place and it's quite dark. Before getting into the area, we have to pass through some gates and jess was the first to walk in. But the moment we get in, she got so scared and started pushing me in front to walk first. The second set foot into the cage, she screamed and grabbed on soooo tightly onto my arms. I was stunned 'cos I still haven't focus into my surroundings and wasnt' sure what is going on. Until jess told me there's bats flying around, very very low. Some were actually flying along the pathway and a few cm above our head. So we quickly walked through it, till there's this bat the flew straight into jess and my face. This time round she screamed soooo loudly that we thought she is going to awake the REST OF THE BATS! Haha. So we stopped walking and started noticing our surroundings and realise there is this BIG fruit bat hanging an arm's length away from jess. She was so scared that she's rooted to the ground and practically hiding behind my shoulders. Those 2 girls behind me, sand and jane is definitely no help at all, keep saying walk faster and get out of here! But I couldn't move at all 'cos jess is holding so tightly onto me and won't move an inch! Then, that BIG fruit bat stop munching and looked at me and jess. I was afraid that it will just flew into our faces and got no choice but to drag jess out of the area. Haha. The totally calm one is lili. She walked alone right at the back, looking at us like some freak show. If I'm her, I probably won't stop laughing at those 4 girls in front. Haha. So we managed to get out of the place safely, and I started wondering, why did we have to errr scare the shit out of ourselves by going in. Haha. Ok. For one, it's really an experience and would say it's quite interesting. And I came to know that though jess weigh about 2/3 of me, but she's not as light as I thought she is, 'cos I did have a hard time trying to walk and drag her out of the place. Haha. Sorry jess, I have to put your "chou shi" on my blog~ Haha. Jane and sand too. They couldn't stop telling me and jess to move faster, since we are in the lead. Haha. Well, wasn't scared until jess suddenly become this scardy cat next to me. And I got a little scared after that with all those screaming around me. Haha.

After that, we continue on the foot trail and ended the journey with the rest of the tram ride back to the entrance. Haha. Saw sooo many creatures, which I didn't even know they existed and couldn't read their names correctly or even remembered them. Guess it was indeed an experience. Well, probably will only do that once. Haha.

Well, it's really fun hanging out with my F5 and thanks for the "cash present". Since we don't really have much time to go out and hunt for my present, that is just the right present ar. And so nan de all 5 of us can meet up. Haha. Left the place after having ben's&jerry's. Reached home at 0000. =)

a lil surprise

Just reached home after dinner with Aaron, Harn and Jack at jp Soup Restaurant. Ha. Yeah, 2nd Soup Restaurant meal in less than a week. Haha. Was "reprimanding" Jack and Aa that they forget about my birthday!! which indeed they did. At least Jack still manage to remember the date, Aa totally forget about it until he read daph's blog. Hurhur! hahaha. Was just teasing you both for forgetting my bday de lah. I don't wish to get many birthday wishes, only hope that my close friends can still remember me that's all. Haha. And they had a little surprise up their sleeves. They got for me a slice of cookies and cream cheesecake and I had no idea about it. Kinda surprised and touched by the act ar. Never expect both of you would do such things. Haha. Thanks so much for the thought! Like I say, better late then never ar! So, next time can still wish me belated de, even though it's many days late! hahaha.

Chatted for an hour plus before harn leaves for her movie and the rest of us went home. Ohh.. we were reminising about our days in JC, chalets and bkk trip. Haha. And we think all of us are like damn cui-ed during that period. What were we thinking went we went to make those hair?!?! It's really funny thinking about it now. And that unforgettable chalet with a stun act by fred. Hahaha. Still manage to bring us endless laughter after so many year. Guess we are really old! Hahaha. Ok, let's make it a point that we meet up more often, before school starts again and all of you went MIA again. Hahaha. Hopefully our next "date" in 2weeks' time will be able to take place.

graduated

After 4yrs of slogging out in NTU, I can say I finally graduated!! Woohoo!! Results are out, and as expected, I got average results with the average class of honours. Ha. On the bright side, at least the effort I spent on doing my FYP is worth it and manage to get A- for it. Otherwise, I think I will hate my profs liao. Even if B+, I will still be "bu gan yuan", since I spent so much time on it le, including all my hols for the last 2 semesters. Another thing to be happy about, I finally manage to achieve my goal of no Cs and Ds. Kinda loser I know. Been trying to do that since yr2, till now then I manage to get it and it's only 4subjects minus off FYP. At least, I still get it before I graduate. Haha. Guess it's just a happy ending to it.

However, I'm not entirely happy, 'cos that what I had expected even before the results are released. And to add to that, there is still another thing that shouldn't be weighing on my mind (but it still is) is kinda affecting the glad-ness I should feel. Well, I guess just gotta ignore it, since it totally out of my control, or rather, whatever I do won't change anything ba. Ha. Ohh ya, realised that no matter how hard I work to achieve something, I always only manage to attained the same/worse than those who didn't have to work that hard. Wonder is it something wrong with the way I'm doing it, or that I'm just overconfident with myself that I thought I did well, when actually I was just average. Kinda dampened your mood, 'cos you know you will never be as good as others or as important, no matter how hard you try. Sad to say, I'm one of those people. sigh.

lost

Mind had been wandering and suddenly this thought came to me. I realise I had changed quite alot within this half a year. I can't exactly say how I had changed, but I knew I did. For one, things that I used to mind or care alot, now it's not longer that priority anymore. Things that would have cause hurt, seems like no longer hurts anymore. Don't know if it's cause I grew out of it or just cause I had gotten used to it. Life just gets more complicated as one grows old. I no longer feel like the old June, who use to heck care about things, enjoying freedom and life and don't have a care about anything. The more I learn to care, the more hurt I feel. Irony. Shouldn't I be happier?

If given a chance to choose again, I would say indeed I made the wrong choice. Didn't want to believe that I did make a wrong choice, until tons of facts come smashing it into my face. You don't want to accept it, also no choice. Ha. That's the cold hard facts about life I guess. Wanted so much to believe in the good of it, but now I could hardly see a tiny glimpse of that good anymore. Sigh. If only I could turn back time to 10years ago, when life was carefree...

Happy Birthday to Me~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF!!! haha. Doesn't time flies by. To think it feels so recent that we just celebrated our 21st birthday, and now, it's already 23 le!! haha Couldn't help but feels old. Well, spent the first 2hrs of my birthday in WestMall cinema watching Narnia-Prince Caspian with daph. Following the next 2.5hrs was spent travelling home, bathing, mapling and reading novel. Haha. Slept for 7hrs and woke up to have OldChangKee breakfast and watching tv. Ohh, in the midst of my dreamy sleep, woke up by my mum to wish me happy birthday. Hahaha. Changed bedsheet and MSN-ing away with birthday wishes.

Had a simple birthday affair. Spent most of my day at home and had dinner with my family. It was almost a happy day until there was a turn in event. sigh. Wonder if my birthday wish will come true not. Made this wish at exactly 1344, my birthtime. Hopefully this time round my wish will come true. Ha.
