my trip

31.07.07 time-2020
flying off to macau on tiger airways.. first time taking a budget airline and at the budget terminal.. well, not a bad experience other than the seats being too cramp.. stiff legs and arms after 3.5hrs in the air..

01.08.07 time-0030
touch down at macau airport.. headed off to our hotel at New Century Hotel.. greek mythology theme hotel.. kinda cool.. settled down and headed out to look for food to eat.. since its already midnight, not much shops were open.. food could have been better i guess.. took a 'tour' around the casino in our hotel.. wow factor of 3stars.. kinda big i would say.. off to bed after that.

01.08.07 time-0900
gathered at the hotel lobby to start on our first day at macau.. headed over to the main island, which is macau itself.. we are staying at the smaller island, taipa.. searching around macau for an hr plus before we manage to find a small cafe to have our breakfast.. can only say that macau people are kinda lazy.. 9+am yet theres not much shops open for business.. and i meant eating places thats like our coffeeshop! ha! went sight seeing around macau.. some shopping done, but nothing was bought other than food.. hahaha.. the weather there was terrible!! hot like mad.. could have die of dehydration just standing under the SHADE.. haha ok thats abit exageratting.. haha.. headed back at ard 3+pm to rest up and to bathe.. none of us can stand the sweaty and sticky and smelly clothes we are wearing... headed out again later in the evening... went hotel-hopping.. or rather casino-hopping in macau.. since its the place famous for its casinos! haha went to Sands Hotel.. the casino there is ultra high class... wow factor of 5stars.. hang around there for an hr plus before moving on.. went to a few more casinos, which i cant really remember their names.. haha the biggest wow of the day is the musical fountain outside this 6stars hotel, WYNN.. its sooo nice and elegantly presented... not to forget its free~ i believe its comparable to the musical fountain in sentosa.. haha

02.08.07 time-0930
had our breakfast at a nearby coffeehouse before we prepare to leave to Pearl River which is a part of china.. that's the place where most of our shopping official begins and almost the place where we get the best bargains and most 'prizes' obtained! cheap, 'branded' LV, Coach, Gucci, etc can be found almost everywhere.. and this whole place is super, duper, ultra big!! its almost like 2-3vivocity combined together.. and its only 2 level.. guess you all can imagine how large and area it occupies.. ha.. had our seafood lunch at a restaurant nearby.. big prawns, fish, pigeons, chickens etc were ordered.. and it cost barely SGD$10 per person.. tastes good and its cheap.. haha continued with our shopping after lunch.. walked till all of us gave up since all our legs couldnt take it anymore... and sadly to say, i didnt manage to complete the whole 2levels.. ha.. headed back to macau at 8+pm... had our 'party' as what my aunts sad at my bro's room after that.. hang out with our beers and foods and titbits... chat till 1+am before we all went back to our room to rest...

03.08.07 time-0930
gathered at the lobby went to a 6stars hotel just next to ours.. Crown Hotel.. the casino's wow factor 6stars! its so nice and classy in there.. had a little gambling there before all of us went to check out our hotel and headed to Hongkong.

03.08.07 time-1300
boarded our TurboJet ferry to Hongkong.. journey of an hr before we reach there.. check into our Hostel at MongKok (wang jiao).. for our first day, we are staying at this 4-room apartment.. each family will hav a room to ourselves.. kinda nice place.. quite spacious as compared to those single room.. though the whole apartment itself is only slightly larger than the hotel room we stayed in macau.. after settling down, we went to fa yuan street to shop around.. well, things aint as cheap as at Pearl River.. nevertheless still cheaper than in sg.. haha.. manage to get some stuffs.. bought food back to our hostel to eat.. went out again later in the evening to walk around the street with all those famous actors and actresses hand print.. cant remember the name of the place.. sad to say, i didnt have my camera around.. thanks to my mum ar.. haha so didnt get to take much photos there.. can only use dap's and min's camera.. saw andy lau's handprint.. and soooo many people gathered around there to look at it.. till its so hard for us to take a proper pic of it... had a break at this dessert shop.. or rather restuarant.. tang chao (sweet dynasty).. the place looks like those chinese food restaurant, but their main dishes are actually desserts!! those desserts are kinda ex.. but it really nice and their food are nicely presented.. with dry ice and all.. haha and they are just desserts... ended first day in Hongkong..

04.08.07 time-0900
went for breakfast just downstairs of where we stay.. had dou jiang and you tiao.. which is damn damn nice!! i miss the dou jiang and you tiao soo much.. too bad hard to find such nice food in sg.. sigh.. went back to pack our luggauge as we are moving downstairs to another hostel.. single room hostel.. this time round the room is kinda small.. and its definitely much smaller than the toilet of the hotel in macau! hahaha.. but it still.. other than the toilet.. i have nothing much to complain about.. well it cheap and has a good location.. so i can deal with the small toilet.. hahaha went out in the noon to shop at da fu.. gotta take the MTR.. this shopping centre is kinda big.. with several zones.. once again, didnt manage to finish shopping the whole area.. bought a few tees.. had dinner at da jia le... and headed back.. before going back to the hostel, we went to this new shopping centre nearby.. its like MBK in Bangkok.. with those small shops all packed so closely together.. things there werent exactly cheap.. almost the same price as sg.. went back after covering the whole area.. bought back xu liu shan to eat.. soo nice.. too bad they dont have it in sg anymore.. how i miss it!!

05.08.07 time-0700
woke up early in the morning to prepare to go to ocean park.. headed to breakfast as the same place.. ate the same food.. before going back to prepare to go out.. went to ocean park with my mum and her friends.. well, the purpose of me to go there is to look at those cute panda.. as for my mum, she went there to look at louis koo.. haha there's this louis koo's fans gathering there... hahaha.. gotta queue quite a long before we manage to get in to look at the panda.. there are 4pandas there.. an an, jia jia, le le and ying ying.. and its ying ying and le le 2nd birthday.. thats why theres this gathering there since that mr koo wanna look at the panda.. he created quite a stir while he was looking at the panda.. i would describe him as the 5th panda.. since theres more people taking photos of him and looking at him than they are looking at the 4 pandas.. hahaha.. what can i say.. hes soo shuai up close.. but he soooooo tan!! almost like charcoal liao.. kinda tall... and his eyes are sooo damn big.. hahaha well, i'm not his fan.. so i dont really feel much looking at him so up close.. can only say he's shuai.. haha there's this lunch thingy at a restuarant in ocean park, Bayview restaurant... i would advise all of you NOT TO GO there for lunch.. cos the food there seriously taste bad.. even those coffeeshop food taste much nicer.. haha what to do, the actual gathering is held there.. so gotta endure the lousy food.. manage to take a photo with louis koo.. ha.. but didnt get to talk to him, since the people there are like soo kan chiong, like chasing people off the chair after the snap went off.. my mum introduced me to him.. and its soo funny.. when he looked soooo shocked when my mum told him im already 22.. and he almost couldnt believe it and told my mum that, he thought i was only 17 or 18.. hahaha... ok im used to people saying i look like sec school students.. zzzzz ha.. the whole gathering ended at ard 2+pm.. wanted to catch some rides and walk around ocean park, but the crowd is madness and the weather is terrible.. it rain soo heavily that walking around is already so ma fan.. went off and the REAL mr koo's fans wanted to catch his new movie, Flashpoint, in cantonese.. since it will b original voice... the movie was good, with fantastic fighting moves.. and it worth catching that movie.. went back to the hostel after dinner...

05.08.07 time-2200
bathe and rested before heading out to lan kwai fang with dap, min and my bro.. haha gotta enjoy the experience of pubbing in Hongkong at this famous street.. the place looks kinda cool.. but sad to say, either we are there too early or that its sunday, there wasnt much of crowd around there.. not like those we saw on tv at least.. hang out at this pub, Bulldogs... where my bro catch the chelsea vs man u match.. left around 12+am to catch the last train back to the hostel...

06.08.07 time-1100
woke up kinda late.. since it own time own target.. dont have to wake up so early... had brunch at the same place again.. before we go shopping again.. this time round we are going to kowloon city.. theres this shopping centre called apm there.. nice kinda.. more of the high-end shopping area.. things there are kinda ex.. didnt manage to buy anything, just looked around.. bought dinner at Jusco and went back around 6+pm... had our dinner and we went out again at around 8+pm... shopped around the area near our hostel.. another new shopping centre.. langham place.. kinda nice place.. but once again, things are rather ex.. manage to find the shoes my bro was looking for.. went to xu liu shan again for more desserts before heading back.. going to be our last night staying at the hostel.. gotta packed our prized possession into our limited lugguages... came with 3lugguages and went back with 5 of them.. haha!

07.08.07 time-1030
woke up and laze around before heading for brunch at the same place.. going to be our last time eating there le!! dont know when will be the next time we will be having our food there.. haha.. last min shopping at fa yuan street.. since there's still some money left, i ended up buying almost anything i see... well, no point bring those HK dollars back so might as well try spending finish it.. haha.. went back at 2pm and meet up for dim sum with the rest of them.. had dim sum at a restaurant around the area.. dim sum is at half price after 2pm everyday, so there's lots of people there even though its a weekday! bought some goodies back.. check out our room and off we go to the airport.. took this direct bus service to the airport.. check in our lugguages.. stupid jetstar.. their service is sooo slow, that it took us almost 30mins to check in, and we are the 2nd group in queue!! lousy service.. though the plane is better than tiger.. ha! more last min shopping in the airport.. search around for Krispy Kreme.. details are omitted.. too dumb to say it.. ha! lets just say my bro and I kinda stupid lah huh.. haha.. last drink at xu liu shan before we went into the gates.. gotta run around again to look for mooncake... help my gerger buy.. thanks dap for running around with me.. and since she can speak cantonese, she helped me to locate the place as well... haha boarded the plane.. and off we go and back to sg..

08.08.07 time-0010
touch down at changi airport and i already miss Honkong le.. the food, the shopping, the leisure.. sigh.. back to reality.. hope i get to go there again soon!!



haha this is one uber long entry.. not meant for you all to read it.. just for me to remember.. so dont complain if it gets tooo boring.. since im not a good writer, nor am i good at describing what i see.. now i'm having withdrawal syndrome.. hallucination, constant thinking of Hongkong, non-stop mumbling of the food i miss.. sigh.. gotta get back to my life again.. if only life continues in Hongkong, where the guys all looks so stylish.. non-stop looking out for yandao.. hahaha! too bad.. i live in sg.. hahaha!
