shopping spree!!

was just reading my horoscope for today.. just those emails that are sent to you.. and somehow both of those emails said almost the same thing for me today... and its really true!! haha not like i'm some big believer of such things.. but cant deny the fact that its kinda true.. ok part of the quotes,

well these 2parts are kinda what I had been thinking today... for almost the whole day i was in a daze.. cos lots of things up in my mind.. but also no idea what is going on.. ha.. had the feeling of withdrawing myself from the world as well.. maybe its time to isolate myself.. but then again, i dont think i can last.. hahaha.. ok enough crap..

been shopping non-stop over the weekend with my mum.. need to get new year clothes or rathe just an excuse to shop ba.. haha need new jeans since many of my jeans are torn.. spent quite alot over 2days.. but lucky got my mum pay and also a couple of vouchers accumulated last year.. so still not much damage done.. cny coming, not really excited.. well maybe just cos i lack the M factor for lots of other stuffs... sigh... when am i going to earn big bucks?!?!?!

sickly me

no alumni bowling.. ha.. wonder if its good or not.. since im stil sick.. and if go bowl probably will just throw myself into the lanes.. hahaha.. been sick this whole week.. argh.. hate having flu, the moment i got flu.. it will take forever to cure.. though its better.. but the occasional blocked nose is not good.. causing me to have difficulties in breathing even just by walking around.. sigh.. what's worse is having nose bleed everyday.. zzzzzzzz thanks to the dry weather.. make me "heaty" that's why sick.. well better to be sick now and have it cured before cny.. haha.. going to get my rest this weekends.. so far no plans.. so yeah.. finally im home!

SA alumni bowling?!?!

so fast another week of school passes by... endure the full timetable.. and realised its tiring.. having to do tuts again is a pain.. especially when you cant get most of the tuts done! another is the damn design project.. argh... no idea how to do it.. and seems like lots of work to be done.. and most importantly, my design and drawing sucked!! how ar like that.. the damn school fee is back to haunt me YET AGAIN!! stupid CPF scheme is making me having trouble every damn sem.. sigh.. and not to forget my bro who's in uni as well.. argghhh!! i need money!!!! sigh..

well went to "participate" in the SA 1st every alumni bowling.. and its freaking 30bucks.. so most of us didnt take part in it, well except for dap, jasc, ben, liang and me who took part in the "cheerleading" for marc, bene and phil.. haha well most of the time we are just sitting around, chatting, playing cards game and not looking at them bowl.. lol!!

mahjong session on both wed night and this noon.. erm... i can only say jasc's vacant room is the place for me.. the feng shui suits me.. til i was kinda shocked with whatever tiles i drew and how nice all those tiles are.. til they all eventually gave up on trying to stop me from winning.. haha feel paisae for winning so much from them when we are playing on small odds.. but i did lose back afterall.. at dap's hse this noon.. ha.. and concluded that dap's hse is not the place for me.. so far i lost abt 80% of the time when i played at her hse.. hahaha.. seriously i must be crazy to be playing mahjong til midnight on school weekdays.. almost fall dead in school on thurs.. and its a surprise i made it home at all.. and not fall into some drain and die there.. ha..

so next week upcoming events are the oldschoolbowlers 2nd annual mini competition events.. though we skip 06.. and made it at Jan'07.. so not exactly annual either.. haha.. kinda looking forward to it.. though i'm probably going to have an average of 80+.. hope i wont drag anyone down.. lol!!

bbq

just a post before i head out to hunt for the calculator model i want.. supposed to be out by now.. but someone decided to set it till a later time, so mite as well just update to pass time.. ha

oldschoolbowlers bbq yest, ended up with 1/3 of the food not eaten.. n left them rotting at harn's place.. thanks harn for offering her place for preparing the food.. guess we did make a mess of her kitchen.. haha leftover cos of people who decided to pang seh last minute.. zzzzz waste our money since we have to pay more and some of the food were being thrown.. especially the crabsticks provided by harn.. haha well interesting way as to how we hav our bbq.. dont want to describe it.. afterall most food are nice.. thanks to ben, dap, harn, jd and me for buying and preparing the food and not to forget bene, liang, phil for bbq-ing the food.. ohh n ben the fire rescue.. lol!! ended with us playing games AGAIN at harn's place... and i realise the bowlers get hooked to drawing.. must be the pictionary ha!

slpt for only 4hrs... or rather attempted to slp for 4hrs since most of the time im conscious of all the noises in the living room.. ha been thinking yet again.. how you thought you knew someone, but actually you dont even know them.. how you thought things wont change, but it did.. how theres people who exist to make your life miserable, and those who's there to make your life full of colours.. and that how little acts of appreciation meant the world to some people.. no elaborations to be made... infer whatever you guys wanna infer.. =)

first week almost over!

haha first week of school almost over.. left with fri.. well time do seem to past kinda fast.. stil getting used to studying life.. so far im stil very lost with the lectures.. no idea what was actually going on.. i believe when tutorials start next week.. i will be totally gone.. and its only the first week, and i think i lost my calculator!!!! damnit!! after not using it for almost half a year, it went away after a few days of school!!! arrrr!!! need to waste money to buy AGAIN!! this is a new one since mine was spoilt during 2nd year...boohoo.. broke liao stil need to waste this type of "yuan wang" money.. zzzzzz what can i say, im blur as usual, careless like always... sigh... i miss my calculator... lol!!

so the post really went missing, so just a brief update of last week..
-went to genting, 1st time to casino - gambling/jackpot... minor loss : interesting experience
-genting - movie, kungfu mahoong 3.. tix are real cheap at 10RM each : nice and "bo liao" film
-genting - bowling, as always i sucked.. well its cheap.. no harm playing : got muscle ache 'cos nv do stretching.. ha
-sun - death note 2 with my mum, very nice, all shd watch it.. wonder how can they be soooo smart.. haha

well for the rest of it, is abt school.. so no pt updating.. since i believe noone will be interested with my school life.. hahaha..

new year resolutions..

as promised, i'm back to update the details of the last 2days of celebrations.. so pple, this is going to be one long entry.. if you wanna go to the toilet, take a drink, better do it now.. otherwise, when you start, you cant stop reading it!!! wahaha.. ok.. probably 'cos its too boring, and you have to force yourself to keep your eyes open or that you actually fell asleep a couple of times.. ha..

sand's birthday, 30dec2006
head over to her 21st bday and really thanks to jess.. otherwise me and janey wont be able to hitch a free ride to sand's chalet at loyang and that both of us will actually end up being lost.. and definitely thanks to the driver.. sand's friend, damien for fetching us to the chalet and the ride back to the mrt station when we are going back..

this is like one of the best 21st party i have actually been to in 2006!! its like a wonderful end to the series of bday parties in 2006.. all the beautiful decos done so nicely by her sis and aunts.. and its alll pink and so like sand!! the big big stars and lights are so nice, esp when the sky turns dark.. and the most beautiful one is definitely the dress she wore!! made and designed by her mum, stitch by stitch her mum sewn it for her... and its really nice.. tgt with her curly hair.. she looks like a princess.. all the little details were nicely done, be it the food, decos, games, bbq.. just everything.. the best part abt the party is the game!! made by the aunts.. kinda like a treasure hunt where all of us are divided into various grps... and of cos me, janey, sand's dance fren sherping and a korean guy(fren sand's aunt) won!!! the clues are kinda hard.. and we are lucky to get the easiest.. so we managed to solve them in record time... and being the 1st, we are given a prize of $20 tangs voucher!! sponsered by her sis.. which is really nice of her!! hahaha come to think of it, i think i made a fool out of myself in the treasure hunt.. cos basically im haunting ppl for the ans and also running ard like an idiot.. hahaha

next is the bday cake.. which is pink.. everything is totally pink.. ha the cake is oso nice.. and theres actually a barbie doll standing on the cake which kinda look like sand.. not to forget the theme of the party is stars.. so janey, jess and me each bought a star pendant to wore.. and its really nice.. hahaha.. this party is so heartwarming.. everything was planned by her sis and her aunts.. helped her in everything.. and its really nice to see their family worked tgt to make sand so happy and a memorable one for her.. even her cousins helped in everything.. the game, food, serving and entertaining all her guests... their hospitality makes you feel like you are so welcome by them.. haha.. really one of the best party i went to..


New Year countdown, 31dec2006, jasc's hse
our yearly, never-been-missed bowler's gathering/newyrcountdown once again take place.. wonder how time really flies.. tis is the 5th yr we had celebrated tgt.. just really great to have them to accompany me over the new year... 'tis time rd its at jasc's hse.. thanks for the offer of having steamboat at ur hse and of cos to your maid for helping us prepare all the food.. which i guess keeps her busy the whole noon.. haha.. and not to forget we probably made a mess to your hse and we are sooo damn noisy throughout the whole night.. hope we didnt cause much troubles for you.. haha...

well, the steamboat is nice.. and again, there's too much food even though we didnt buy much... 'cos of the few last min cancelling of dinner plans by some of them.. yesh its understandable for harn.. 'cos she sooo sick yet she stil made it there.. even though its only for a couple of hrs.. and she really looks so sick.. as for fred, erm.. not idea what to say.. didnt even get to talk to him much before he has to leave to fetch his parents.. haha as for marc... you best huh.. jio us play mahjong.. then halfway pangseh.. well done liao lor.. made me lose AGAIN!! hahaha and to think we are supposed to celebrate new year tgt.. tsktsk..

so after dinner, we had our rds of playing games again.. like shithead, daidee, bridge, pictionary, german bridge... seriously i think we bowlers can start a games cafe of our own.. always had so much games to play.. and theres always new games we play.. this time rd is pictionary.. guess all of us are so fascinated by this game.. its so interesting and a test of our drawing skills.. apparently, mine sucked.. 'cos most of them dont really know what i'm drawing, esp when i'm using my left hand.. i dont even knew what i was drawing.. haha and jack has become the king of drawing with left hand and close eyes!! and hes gd at it.. cos he can draw even better than when im opening my eyes and drawing with my right hand!! hahaha.. and of cos there's aaron.. king of pictionary.. cos whoever that has him in the team nv loses any game.. well i guess hes really gd at guessing.. and theres ben and liang whom im impressed with their creative minds in drawings.. haha

had mac breakfast and we all left at ard 6plus.. thanks liang for the ride hm.. ha.. and thats abt how i spent my countdown.. though the attendance wasnt that gd, but its great fun afterall.. let hope we all can keep this going for the years to come.. that is if we are not too old for them..

tis time rd we didnt get to say our new year resolutions.. so im going to do it here in my blog.. but before that let me recap on the events in 2006!!

-i turned 21 had held my 21st bday celebration/chalet with the help of my mum and bro and all those who came for it.

-attended lots of 21st bday parties, with harn&marc's bday party and sand's bday party being the most memorable.

-managed to keep to all of my last yr resolutions, and indeed i'm a happier person.

-deal with lots of breakup stories in this year, not the best of it.. but it made all of them a stronger person!

-onto my 3rd yr in ntu, and went to attachment at Shinryo.. though wasnt the best place of attachment, but i grew to like the place and ppl there.

-and i finally came to realise the true meaning of cherish what you have, and that its really never too late to regret.. it's what doesnt break us that makes us stronger.

and so 2006 ended.. and its really a gd yr.. better than 2005.. since all of us had grown older and wiser.. and yesh we are all into our adulthood!! time to really grow up even if we dont want to...(must be thinking that i'm so long-winded, endure abit more, its ending soon!!)

New Year resolution, 2007!
probably going to be same as last year.. with having to study even harder and get better grades being the 1st and most impt.. hope i can be really studious since there is only 3sem left for me to pull up my a little more than pessimistic grades.. if i intend to get my honours..

next is, keeping in contacts with all of my friends, and i will definitely learn to cherish each and everyone company..

also, i need to keep my health in check, as being healthy is not a luxury everyone can have..

well, the last is going to be continue to be content with what i had and that i really have to improve to be a better person.. afterall there's not much chance for that once i graduate and step into the society with all the EVILS out there.. haha.. not goin to elaborate much..

lastly, thanks everyone for being in my life... oldschbowlers, F5, mygerger, friendsinNTU, colleaguesinShinryo.. and of cos, for those who actually finish reading this entry.. you guys have come to end of this entry.. cheers!! afterall its 2007!!!!


woohoo!! its 2007!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!! hope 2006 had been a wonderful year for all, and that 2007 will be an even more fantastic year for all...!! since all of us will be growing older, getting wiser.. haha what a time to be updating my blog.. well im hyper and lack of sleep does weird things to me.. haha..

had wonderful celebrations at sand's bday and also at jasc's house.. nice food, nice games, GREAT company... details will be given in the next update.. so meanwhile all out there just gotta wait for my next update, which i hope will be really soon.. or maybe just a few hours later... and yeah i will sum up my year of 2006, my old/new year resolutions and all that i hope for in this new year, 2007!!! yesh.. im looking forward with lots of hope.. =)
